Our Checkout Operators are an important part of our team as they provide the icing on the cake for our customer’s experience. We require individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to offer great customer service. The role requires patience and understanding as every customer is different. Adaptability is essential as the pace of the supermarket can change at the drop of a hat.

New World offers training and development opportunities for those who wish to advance their career within the supermarket industry. We employ a large collective team, so there is plenty of support on hand when needed. To become a Checkout Operator, no experience is necessary – we provide the training! Cash handling skills, and customer service experience can be advantageous.

We are open 7 days a week from 7am until 11pm. Various days and hours are available to suit all types of schedules. Applicants must be willing to work one day at the weekend.
