About the role:
We’re excited to launch the very first Hansby Internship Programme – a unique opportunity for one student to join Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) for a two-week internship. This programme has been made possible through a partnership with Wakatipu High School and the Hansby family.
You’ll be part of the Infrastructure Delivery & Engineering team, where you’ll gain hands-on experience and insight into how major projects in our district are planned, designed, and delivered. You’ll support the Engineering Manager, Senior Civil Engineers, Senior Construction Engineer, Infrastructure Engineers, and Project Managers in areas such as:
This is a fantastic chance to explore what a career in engineering might look like, while working alongside experienced professionals who help shape the future of our community. At the completion of the internship, we’d like to see our successful intern complete a written report of the experience gained during this opportunity.
