Store Person Forklift Driver

This position is suited for a passionate and motivated individual, preferably with some warehouse experience, and who must have a Forklift Drivers License. The role is to assist in the operations and logistics of the inward goods area, ensuring that deliveries are unpacked and ready to be moved into the store. A key requirement is a strong knowledge of Health & Safety, as well as Food Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

1. Maintaining an organised storeroom
2. Unloading and sorting inward goods
3. Receiving deliveries and inspecting them for quality
4. Shelf filling and store presentation
5. Using a forklift in a safe manner
6. Ensuring that Health & Safety standards are maintained
7. Maintaining a positive rapport with Colleagues, Suppliers, Reps, and Delivery Drivers

Our ideal candidate will have previous industry experience in either supermarkets or warehouse distribution. They will be reliable in turning up on time and ready to go. They will have the ability to communicate thoroughly on all levels. They must be well organised and show good attention to detail. They must be a team player, but also have the ability to work independently. They must have exceptional customer service as a priority.
