We’re hiring 3 Gardeners to join our passionate & dedicated team in permanent roles based in Queenstown at our depot in the beautiful Queenstown Gardens. You'll use a wide variety of horticultural skills & assist in all aspects of garden maintenance.

About the role:
You will be required to carry out the maintenance of amenity gardens in Queenstown, Arrowtown and other QLDC sites, including Queenstown Gardens. You will use a wide variety of horticultural skills and will assist in all aspects of garden maintenance.

What you'll bring:
You’ll have a minimum Level 2 Certificate in Horticulture (or equivalent) or 2+ years’ experience in amenity horticulture, with a Class 1 NZ driver’s licence (essential). You’ll be a team player with great communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities of the role:
- Ensuring Wakatipu Garden areas, including the Queenstown Gardens, are maintained to a high standard using horticultural best practices.
- Maintaining our shrub, flower, rose, annual bed and other garden areas to industry standard.
- Assisting with new garden planting and enhancement.
- Assisting with maintenance of irrigation ensuring optimal performance
- Complying with and supporting QLDC health and safety policies and procedures and actively participating in health and safety activities as appropriate.
What you'll bring:

- W Endorsement Licence
