About the role:
This role is solely responsible for managing all consents related debtor accounts including account maintenance, invoice processing, debt collection, and responding to customer queries in an accurate and timely manner. The role also has responsibility for daily banking processes, managing unallocated payments and shared inbox management.
This position requires an in-depth understanding of both the procedural and regulatory aspects of the consenting processes at QLDC, as it involves problem-solving and resolving issues within this complex and highly technical area. This is a very busy role with a large volume of processing with tight timeframes, that requires teamwork and collaboration with the Planning and Development Team.

Responsibilities of the role:
- Assist with daily bank transaction allocations, reviewing remittances and contacting customers to query payments as required.
- Complete consent debtor database account maintenance.
- Process invoices, credits & statements as required in the monthly timetable.
- Problem solve technical billing issues, resolving them to ensure invoicing is completed in the required timeframes.
- Debt collection tasks including agreeing payment arrangements.
- Complete required month-end tasks including bulk processing, transactional tasks and
reconciliations. - Actively participate in and contribute to process improvement and development continually documenting procedures.

What you'll bring:
Proven finance skills, ideally 3+ years of prior processing experience and you will need well-developed communication skills across both written and verbal. Our ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills where you can relate well to all kinds of people in a courteous and efficient manner.
To best succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- Proven experience (minimum of 3 years) in a finance, accounts or office administrator role
which included accounts receivable and debt collection. - Previous experience working with consent processing in a resource planning organization is highly desirable.
- Methodical and accurate, with a commitment to accuracy and quality of work.
- Demonstrated experience in a range of desktop applications especially Microsoft Office, plus experience in a range of accounting software (Technology One preferred).
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and gain their trust and respect.
- Demonstrated ability to take on responsibility and use initiative to prioritize work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in process/system improvement.
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
