We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic Property team. in supporting the successful delivery of allocated QLDC property projects. A range of benefits are on offer so read more and apply now!

About the role:
You will be supporting the property team in the successful delivery of allocated QLDC property projects. You will be responsible for co-ordinating and supporting the overarching programme of work and specific projects in collaboration with external project managers, contractors, other external consultants and managing budgets including the coordination of the management of the Vertical Projects Panels.

Responsibilities of the role:
  • Ensuring that best value for money services are achieved through effective administering of procurement processes for property services
  • Financial administration of property project budgets
  • Coordinate maintenance and renewal projects
  • Coordinating maintenance and renewal projects as assigned
  • Providing project management support and coordination in relation to all property projects

What you'll bring:
You will have 2 years relevant experience within property project management and will have knowledge in financial management & analysis.

To best succeed in this role, you’ll have:
  • Relevant degree qualification
  • Knowledge and experience with the application of project management methodologies
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Excellent people and communication skills, and a strong customer ethos
