Skilled Assembly/Service Technician - Nelson (Nelson Labour Hire)

They are currently seeking a versatile and skilled Assembly/Service Technician to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including fabrication, assembly, servicing, fault diagnostics, calibration, repairs, maintenance, and commissioning of new products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and hands-on experience in assembly and servicing. You should be comfortable with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and technical issues, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Key qualifications and attributes:

• Proven experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication.
• Competence in fault diagnostics, repairs, and commissioning.
• Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
• Excellent references that highlight your reliability and expertise.
• A clean full driver's license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, ensuring a commitment to a safe working environment.
